Fr. Simon Peter Kyambadde

Director, St. Augustine's Institute

Fr. Kyambadde is a priest of Jinja diocese, with a doctorate in Sacred Liturgy at the Pontificio Ateneo S. Anselmo (Rome), and a Diploma in Counseling (St. Anselm’s, England), former Lecturer at Kinyamasika National Major Seminary (seven years), author of In God’s own Image: Personal Growth and Basic Counseling Skills (Trafford, Victoria 2005, Paulines, Nairobi 2007), Founder of the magazine: Shepherds after My Own Heart, Consultant, Liturgy Commission, Jinja diocese, facilitator for Managing Stress and Burnout in ministry, Liturgy, Growth groups, Pastoral Software, Guidance and Counseling. He also runs the blog www.dailyhomily.net

Fr. Kenneth Gaffa

Fr. Gaffa is f rom Hoima diocese. He has a Masters in Biblical Theology from Urbaniana University, Rome, a Bachelor of Science (Makerere University) and a Diploma in Education (Makerere University). Before coming to St. Augustine Institute he was lecturer at Alokolum National Major Seminary, Teacher at St. John Bosco Minor Seminary (Biology and Chemistry), teacher and chaplain (St. Andrea Kaahwa’s College, Hoima) and Chaplain to Cistercian Sisters of Charity. He is now also Editor of the Magazine Shepherds after My Own Heart, facilitator of Guidance and Counseling, Anger Management and co-facilitator of Growth Groups

Fr. Matthias Baguma

Financial Administrator

Fr. Baguma is from Hoima diocese. He was Bursar of St. John Bosco Seminary in Hoima for 19 years. He is currently completing a long-distance Masters Program in Development Studies at Uganda Martyrs' University, Nkozi.

Msgr. Gervase Mukasa

Assistant Bursar/Spiritual Director

Monsignor Mukasa is a priest of Masaka diocese where he acts as Episcopal Vicar for the Religious. He has a Diploma in Counseling and Guidance (St. Anselm’s England). Msgr. Mukasa has a long experience in the pastoral ministry both as Assistant Priest and Parish Priest. He is former lecturer at Alokolum National Major Seminary. At the Institute he also acts as Spiritual Director for support staff and he is in charge of the institute gardens. He is a facilitator for Guiding and Counseling and a Co-facilitator for Growth Groups.
